Earthquake!
At 5:39 I was comfortably sleeping on my stomach until I thought someone was making a lot of noise entering the room. I startled, called out, and then just stood up and turned on the light. Lots of possibilities ran through my mind: tornado? a train in my room? and then, EARTHQUAKE? And I stood there until everything stopped moving, and even the small ornament hanging and swinging, finally stopped.
Never have I felt that before, and am glad that there was no reason to think it might happen again. Sometimes there are reports of quakes in other areas of the midwest, but I'd never felt one before. The news started reporting that there are no casualties, not much damage, and we have a lot to be thankful for, I guess.
Sometimes these things just happen, right?
